The DH74X Series Single Plate Check valve is a one direction flow valve. Where there is flow in the pipeline the dual plates will open off the seats and allow a flow forwards. When the flow is stopped, the dual plates will start to close and with the spring pressure close against the body seats preventing back flow. The higher the back flow pressure the tighter the seal.
